Murray Mendelson is 78 years young, and is happily living in quiet suburbia. He doesn’t get out much, but when he does it’s to tend to his picturesque lawn. When he’s out riding his mower Murray feels a sense of pride, and he can let his mind ponder the questions of the universe.

Murray keeps to himself for the most part. He’ll wave to the neighbours if he accidentally makes eye contact, but that is pretty much the extent of his human interaction. All he needs is his dog, his faithful companion, by his side.

If you want to stay on Murray’s good side do not even think about walking on his lawn. Though he hasn’t shot his rifle in years, he’s always ready to scare anyone who doesn’t tread carefully.
